Firpo, ante la oferta de la compañía decidió donar las tierras para la empresa y al mismo tiempo resolvió hacer el trazado de un pueblo en el resto del terreno Dicho acuerdo se firmó el 29 de marzo de 1903 Llegando al 4 de abril de 1904, día en que pasó el primer tren.
